Our newest laser therapy involves the Cutera Titan. Titan utilizes a safe infrared light to heat the dermis below the skin surface. This stimulates collagen formation in the deep dermis, thereby tightening up sagging skin. The neck and folds in the face are the ideal location in the use of the Titan. Any skin type can be treated with this. Most patients require a full treatment and then two booster treatments over a period of several months. The full effect of Titan may not be seen for several months. There are no significant complications from Titan. Patients may have some redness to their skin for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, but then this quickly resolves.
